Chicken Balls


Ingredients

For the covering
Fine Rice Flour – 1 cups
Water – approx 1 cups
Salt – as needed
Oil-1 tsp

For the filling
Cooked Boneless Chicken-250grm(Chopped into small pieces)
Onion - 1 big(Chopped into very fine pieces)
Tomato - 1 medium sliced into small pieces
Green chilly - 1 Chopped into very fine pieces
Garlic - 2 cloves (Chopped into very fine pieces)
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 t spoon
Chilly Powder – 1/2 t spoon
Cooking oil – 2 table spoon
Salt - To taste

Method:

1. First we need to prepare filling. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the onions till light brown in colour add salt to taste. Then add green chilly,garlic and tomato and stir for around 10 minutes.
2. Then add Chilly Powder, Turmeric Powder and stir for around 1 minutes.Then add cooked chicken and mix well. Keep it on low fire for about 10 minutes.Remove from fire and keep it aside.
3.Now we need to make cover. In a deep vessal boil 1 cup of water. When it starts boiling add 1 tsp oil and salt to taste.Add rice flour and keep stirring .Cover with a lid for a minute.Take dough in a plate and knead well.
4.Apply oil to your palms.Make a lemon sized ball of this dough. Keep remaining dough covered. With both hands, flatten ball of dough to make it in a shape of Puri. Thickness should be little thicker than puri. Keep 1tsp chicken filling at the center of this. Bring all edges together at the center and close them at the top.Molde like a balls.
5.Now steam the chicken balls for about 10 minuts.
